These Terms of Service govern your use of the A1 Painters website and the painting and home improvement services we provide on Cape Cod. By requesting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
A1 Painters provides professional residential and commercial painting, deck staining, bathroom remodeling, and general home improvement services. All services will be performed in a professional, workmanlike manner in accordance with industry standards and the specific details outlined in your accepted project estimate or contract.

Our standard payment terms are designed to be transparent and fair. Payment schedules, deposits, and final amounts are specified in your written estimate or contract. Work may be paused if payments are overdue.
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your project, we require at least 7 days' written notice prior to the scheduled start date. Cancellations made with less than 7 days' notice may result in the forfeiture of your deposit to cover scheduling losses and pre-purchased custom materials (such as tinted paint). Refunds for completed work are not provided, but we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship.
While our renovation contractors take every precaution to protect your property, A1 Painters is not liable for damage to items that were not properly secured or removed by the client prior to our arrival. We are also not responsible for pre-existing structural issues, hidden moisture damage, or failing substrates discovered during the preparation process.
A1 Painters retains the right to take photographs and videos of the work performed at your property for portfolio, marketing, and training purposes. We will never share images that contain personally identifiable information, family members, or sensitive property details without your explicit written consent.
A1 Painters carries comprehensive general liability insurance coverage of $2 million to protect our clients in the event of property damage or other incidents that may occur during the course of our work.
In the unlikely event of a dispute arising from these Terms or our services, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue amicably through direct communication. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to binding mediation or arbitration in the state of Massachusetts, in accordance with Massachusetts law.
A1 Painters reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
